Zara Returns and Refunds

Consumer Protection UK is independent and is not connected to Zara. Zara says you have 30 days from the shipping date of an online order, or from the date of purchase in store, to return items in their original condition with all labels. Store returns are free; drop-off returns for online orders cost £2.95, taken from your refund.

Zara's Returns Policy

  • Return Window

Zara says you have 30 days from the shipping date of your order for online purchases, or 30 days from the date of purchase in store. Items must be in their original condition and include all labels. source

  • Return Options

Zara says you can return items for free at any Zara store. Drop-off returns, for online purchases only, cost £2.95, deducted from your refund. source

Your Legal Rights

  • Cooling-off Period

Most online and phone orders have a 14-day cooling-off period, but goods that are clearly personalised or made to your specification are excluded. Made-to-measure items for non-standard sizes are an example. source

  • Reject Within 30 Days

Within 30 days of delivery you can usually reject faulty goods and get a refund. You will normally need to show the fault. source

  • Refund Deadline

Refunds must be paid without undue delay, and within 14 days of the trader agreeing you are entitled to one. source

  • What Goods Must Be

Goods you buy from a business must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose (Consumer Rights Act 2015). Your contract is with the seller, not the manufacturer, so the seller is the one to complain to. source
