How to Cancel EE

EE says you need to give at least 30 days' notice to leave if you are not switching, even after your minimum term. To switch to another network, text PAC to 65075 (or STAC to 75075) and give the code to your new provider. Text INFO to 85075 to check any early exit charges first. Consumer Protection UK is independent and is not connected to EE.

Leaving EE

  • Notice

EE says you can request cancellation up to 45 days before the end of your minimum term. If you disconnect without switching, you must give at least 30 days' notice, even after the minimum term ends. EE broadband needs 30 days' notice. source

  • Switching Codes

Text INFO to 85075 to check whether you will pay early charges. Text PAC to 65075 to keep your number, or STAC to 75075 if you do not want it. source

Charges and Your Final Bill

  • Early Exit Charges

EE adds together all outstanding monthly charges for the rest of your minimum term, removes VAT, deducts 4% for early payment, adds any remaining Add to Plan charges, then adds VAT back. Its example: £86.40 for a £30 a month plan with three months left. source

  • Final Bill

EE says your final bill comes within 14 days of your number being cancelled. Unused line rental paid in advance is credited, and refunds usually arrive about eight days after the final bill. If you bought from EE and changed your mind, you can return your device, SIM or accessory within 14 days. source
