How to Cancel Three
To leave Three and keep your number, text PAC and your date of birth (DDMMYY) to 65075, then give the code to your new provider. If you leave before your minimum term ends you may pay an early termination fee, and any device plan balance must still be paid. Consumer Protection UK is independent and is not connected to Three.

Leaving Three
Getting Your PAC
Three says if you have one number with it, text PAC and your date of birth (DDMMYY) to 65075. If you have more than one number, call 0333 338 1082. A PAC is valid for 30 days. Home Broadband needs 30 days' notice. source
Charges and Device Plans
Three says you may be charged an early termination fee if you leave before the end of your minimum term. If you cancel your airtime plan with a device plan balance outstanding, it must still be paid in full. Your final airtime bill comes within 38 days of your number moving. source
Your Rights
Changes to Your Terms
Providers can change contract terms, but they must give at least one month's notice, and you have the right to leave without penalty if the change does not benefit you. You cannot leave over changes that only benefit you, are purely administrative or are imposed by law, such as a VAT change. source
Free Dispute Resolution
If your complaint is not resolved, you can use a free alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme once six weeks have passed since your initial complaint, or earlier if you receive a deadlock letter. The two schemes are the Communications and Internet Services Adjudication Scheme (CISAS) and the Communications Ombudsman. All providers must belong to one. source
