Airline Complaints and Flight Compensation

If your flight arrived more than 3 hours late, or was cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice, you may be owed fixed compensation of £220 to £520 under UK261, unless there were extraordinary circumstances. Claim from the airline first. If it says no, or does not reply within 8 weeks, take it to its ADR scheme or the Civil Aviation Authority.
